The ultimate one night in Bangkok. See it all when the city comes alive at night - frantic markets, glittering temples, chic bars, local haunts, people watching, side streets and alleyways.

Details

Out late

Navigating the City of Angels at night is an illuminating experience. Tonight we'll explore a myriad of sides to this city that comes to life after the sun sets. This adventure is never the same twice and customized to each group's interests. We'll kick things off with dinner at one of the city's tastiest Thai restaurants then stroll through the multi-cultural Nana area. Here you'll see everything that is Bangkok crammed into a few city blocks: tourists collide with hawkers, Arabs with Africans and red-light districts with steaming street stalls, hi-tech yuppies and local hustlers. Watch your step and take it all in.

To gain an appreciation of sprawling Bangkok, we'll step out onto the roof of a Skyscraper and enjoy a drink of one of the city's premier bars as you gaze upon the bustling city below.

No evening in the The Big Mango would be complete without seeing infamous Patpong where night markets merge with go-go bars and colourful characters abound. Everything is available here from Polio shirts and Gocci watches to Nikee shoes. We may even treat you to a local late night snack - deep fried seasoned grasshoppers!

We'll likely wind things up at a live music cabaret. Keep your eyes peeled as you may even see Thai Tom Jones!

Tonight you'll visit:

  • Nana and Little Lebanon area
  • Vertigo or Sirocco
  • Patpong & red-light districts
  • Side streets and alleyways and other curious corners
  • This nighttime adventure is modifiable to suit specific tastes

Dress Code: This is designed to be a casual evening strolling interesting corners of the city. Dressing comfortably is important, HOWEVER, if visiting one of the famous rooftop bars appeals then guests must have closed shoes (no beach sandals) and no shorts/tank-tops. It's best to dress as if you could go golfing.

Itinerary

  • Midnightish - Return to hotel and chuckle at your experience

FAQs

How active will the day be?

This adventure features multiple modes of transport and is ideally suited to anyone who likes walking and has no major physical limitations. Great for adventurous souls of all ages.

What if it rains?

Our adventures run year-round, rain or shine. During the rainy season (July-Oct) it's a good idea to bring an umbrella and be prepared to get a bit wet. When it really pours we take shelter, enjoy a beverage and let it pass, which is usually quickly - then we'll continue exploring. It's a great experience to see a SE Asian rain shower up close!

I have trouble walking - is there another way to see the city's sites?

Absolutely, we can arrange for a private car to take you point to point. Bangkok automobile traffic can slow things down and may affect the number of sites you can visit during the trio. Let us know in advance and we'll be sure to make your trip perfect.
