Our Adventures in SE Asia
Southeast Asian Explorer - 15 Days
After six years of leading the best Thai adventures, Smiling Albino is stretching its trunk. We’ve teamed up with one of the world's most respected and celebrated travel writers, Joe Cummings, to design a truly world-class, one-of-a-kind Southeast Asian travel experience. The author of over 30 guidebooks on regions from Texas to Brunei, Joe is best known for his top-selling, 25-year (and counting) Lonely Planet Thailand and Laos guidebooks. He knows Thailand, Laos, the greater region, their cultures and people like no one else and has incorporated some of his favorites into this outstanding journey. This signature adventure is truly a mosaic of the very best of Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Featured themes include the hidden corners and multiple layers of Bangkok, including Chinatown, its snaking canals and interesting life along them, Thailand’s ancient ‘Lanna-style’ temples in Chiang Mai (Joe’s home and stomping ground), enchanting life along the Mekong River journeying from Thailand to Luang Prabang, Laos, Cambodia’s stunning Angkor Wat and of course many indigenous peoples along the way. This once-in-a-lifetime adventure is designed with making the most of your every moment a top priority. You'll enjoy world-famous, elegant accommodations, regional haute cuisine, a collection of creative transport options and the region’s most knowledgeable and entertaining hosts.
