Albino Smiles - December 2009/2552
It’s the last month of 2009 and hope this finds you with great plans arranged for the holidays with friends and family - and hopefully coming on an adventure with us here in Asia! This month we’re gearing up for the busiest time of the year in travel and are ready to host guests from around the world on life changing adventures. We hope to see you here soon!
Adventure Highlights
To the beach! - Following an October trip to personally visit lots of hotels and select our favorites, a array of Ko Samui Beach Escapes are live and online. Covering a fabulous range of properties and locations, there’s a great beach option for everyone here. Take a look, choose which one best suits you and leave the rest up to us.
Vietnam - Smiling Albino co-founder, Daniel Fraser has spent the last couple months putting together the finishing touches on the next session of our legendary Vietnam Grand Slam. He’ll personally be hosting two families on this holiday season adventure. We’ll be running three more trips into Vietnam over 2010, in March, November and December. See what Vietnam with Smiling Albino looks like.

Go personalized - What does a professional chef do when visiting Bangkok? Cook in one of the city’s top restaurants thanks to a little help from Smiling Albino. A New York City native had a dream to not only learn Thai cooking while in the kingdom, but spend some time working alongside local chefs in a real working kitchen. We dipped into our contacts, made a few phone calls to make it happen. If there’s a travel dream you have, think of our Customized experiences. Get inspired and let us create your ultimate journey.
Nepal - We launched the very active Nepal Trek & Trail in 2008 and have another installment scheduled for March 7 of 2010. If you like mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting and the great outdoors - and want to experience all this in stunning Nepal - then this is the trip for you.
Thailand - If Thailand is more to your liking, our Thailand Trek & Trail has an open date on March 11, 2010. This is the original multi-sport adventure in our Trek & Trail series. You’ll see the Land of Smiles in a unique and exciting way.
Cambodia - Cambodia is one of SE Asia’s most fascinating and emerging destinations and we’ve made our Classic Cambodia adventure even better. Get yourself to Cambodia and see what all the fuss is about.
Smiling Albino News
Reakmey (Barang) Chin, one of our top hosts in Cambodia, is not only a great guide, but a talented singer. He’ll be competing in a nationally televised talent competition in Phnom Penh on December 27. Be sure to go sing some karaoke with Barang after visiting the temples of Angkor with him – a very fun way to end a day. Best of luck to you Barang!

Dan (Mr. Emcee) Fraser was the Master of Ceremonies at the opening of the Ultimate Thailand Explorers competition in Bangkok. Conceived by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, this innovative competition sees travelers promote Thai destinations via online media. He’ll also be hosting the wrap up party next week.
