Casually taking it all in

Born in Toronto, ON, and blessed with dual Canadian/Australian citizenship, Greg has the distinction of being the only member of the Smiling Albino Team who first met the gang as a client when he adventured with us in 2001.

After working in the Calgary, AB, film industry and getting his ego hammered doing stand-up comedy, he found himself at a loss for words when his roommate challenged him to come up with a good reason why they shouldn’t go to Thailand for a few months. That was five years ago. During his time here Greg has worked as a teacher, team building facilitator, journalist, actor, voice artist and in an uncountable number of positions in the film industry from peon to assistant director.

Greg enjoys traveling to the outer reaches of the Kingdom when opportunity presents itself but can more often be found navigating the concrete mazes of Bangkok’s back alleys and hidden temples where he’s always a short motorcycle taxi ride away from a Subway sandwich or movie theatre (a cold beer to the person who can trounce him in movie trivia!).

With a firm belief that life shouldn’t be lived without laughter, Greg will make sure your time spent with SA is as fun as it is rewarding and as memorable as it is unique. And a second cold beer for any guest who brings him some strawberry Twizzlers (big bag please) – those things are worth their weight in gold in Thailand!
