Leading a hike in the far north

Ko, was born in 1982 and grew up on his parents’ rice and corn farm, learning the tricks of the trade and a respect for nature from day one.
Living in Wiang Chai, a district 25km east of Chiang Rai city, exposed him to many societies, from country life to city life.
In 2000 he entered Chiang Rai University, later graduating with a degree in Tourism Industry Studies, after which he began his career as a Tourism Authority of Thailand guide in 2003.
Ko was drawn to tourism as a means to gain knowledge of other persons and cultures, while advancing his career and sharing the northern part of Thailand with guests from his unique prospective. In his spare time Ko tends to his Dragonfruit farm and also drives guests around the northern part of the country in his new, ultra-slick, Toyota van.
One day he hopes to have his own travel agency that specializes in off-road motorbike and 4x4 trips. His dream trip is to go to Europe to see ancient cities and cultures in a world far away from his own.
