Old Town Tuk-Tuk Adventure

As a special perk for travelling with us, your host will take you out for a fun outting via Bangkok’s iconic tuk-tuk (on us!).

First things first, we’ll check out glittering Wat Pho which, when visited just before closing time, affords for a more peaceful viewing of the large Reclining Buddha within. From there, we’ll head to Bangkok’s Chinatown where we sample some snacks in what is Thailands undisputed mecca of street-food favorites. And finally we’ll stroll through Bangkok’s colorful and sensory flower market where you will also have the chance to learn the art of garland making — an important craft in Thai spiritual practice (and a fun family activity!).

Finally, your host will accompany you to a recommended and ambient Thai restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious Thai dinner. When you are ready to leave, you will be accompanied home in your tuk-tuk.

day 3

Explore the hidden jungles of Bangkok on a cycling adventure into the inner city oasis of Bang Krachao. Reached by boat or bridge, this island is often referred to as the “green lung” of Bangkok. We’ll explore the nature, villages, temples and markets of this laid-back island at a leisurely pace, stopping occasionally to try new tastes, discover artisanal endeavors or if we’re lucky, to catch a glimpse of a kingfisher perched in the trees.

day 4

Chiang Rai is the northernmost province in Thailand bordering Myanmar (Burma) to its northwest and Laos and the Mekong River the northeast. With rugged hills, spectacular mountains and enchanting rural villages, Chiang Rai is an ideal adventure playground.
