Role Overview

As a Senior Travel Consultant at Smiling Albino, you will be a key player in delivering our exceptional travel experiences. Your responsibility will be to engage with clients from around the world, working with them to design the unique journeys only Smiling Albino can offer. Your expertise and passion for travel will ensure that each client enjoys a memorable and one-of-a-kind adventure.

Key Qualifications

Luxury Travel
  • Expertise in experiential luxury travel with in-depth knowledge of Southeast Asia destinations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in luxury travel consulting.
  • Preferred experience selling to North American and UK markets.
Sales Acumen
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to close deals and achieve targets.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Empathy and the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
  • Creative and curious, with a proactive approach to planning and problem-solving.
Detail Oriented
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for Operations Specialists to join our mission to “inject ‘Customer Service WOW’” at every point in the client journey into the values of all teams. You will be a part of our operations team to deliver seamless experiences to our high expectations of international guests.

The Role:

  • Trip Management: Ensure seamless bookings, reservations, and logistics for hotels, airlines, and local partners.
  • Client Support: Assist travel consultants, resolve travel issues, manage guide assignments, and handle customer care.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor tour details, update documentation, check operation performance, and ensure accuracy.

What you can offer:

  • Minimum degree educated in related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years in tour operations, travel agencies, hotels, or related fields.
  • Fluent in English and Thai – written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication, MS Office & Excel, Google Suite, problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our mission to “inject ‘Customer Service WOW” at every point in the client journey and into the values of all teams. You will be a part of our Guest Experience Team helping to deliver seamless experiences to our high expectations of international guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Management & Inquiry Tracking:

  • Record all inquiries in Podio, ensuring visibility across the team, and track their status in AXUS and Confluence systems.
  • Follow up to confirm timely responses, track inquiry progression, and identify if they evolve into proposals, ensuring no inquiry goes unaddressed.

Operational Briefing & Coordination:

  • Conduct briefings with Operations to cover all aspects of incoming trips, ensuring smooth planning and execution.
  • Lead regular coordination meetings to ensure a seamless handoff, particularly around Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) for client arrangements.

Sales Support:

  • Manage day-trip sales, including client communication, booking (when required during peak season), and follow-up for seamless execution.
  • Activate pre-sales process with lead Travel Designer.
  • Activate post-sales process with lead Travel Designer.

Travel & Product Research:

  • Research hotel options to confirm availability, assess restrictions, and evaluate suitability for upcoming client trips.
  • Use Amadeus to check flight availability, schedules, and routes, coordinating relevant details with the team as needed.

Product Support & Development:

  • Provide additional support on product research and development as required, contributing to the continuous improvement of Smiling Albino’s offerings.

Peak- Time Operational Support:

  • Act as a support bridge during peak operational periods and Saturdays, assisting the Client Services team with client communication, booking confirmations, and inquiry follow-ups to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

Role Overview

This role owns the regional product vision, quality, and commercial performance of Smiling
Albino’s experiences across all operating countries.

The role exists to build product depth, originality, and clarity that directly support revenue
quality, operational stability, and Smiling Albino’s position as a leader in innovative,
experience-led travel as the business scales through 2026 and beyond.

This is a senior leadership role. Success is measured by product strength, commercial
performance, and decision quality.

  • Creating depth beyond first time itineraries to support repeat and high value clients

Key Accountabilities

Product Strategy and Ownership

  • Own the regional product strategy across all operating countries
  • Define clear product categories, standards, and quality thresholds across core, signature, and specialist experiences
  • Ensure every product has a defined audience, pricing logic, and delivery feasibility
  • Set product governance, decision rights, and approval standards
  • Hold shared final product sign off authority with the Executive Director

 

Creative Product Development

  • Lead structured and ad hoc product idea generation across the region
  • Originate, test, and evolve new experience concepts aligned with Smiling Albino’s brand and client base
  • Identify gaps in the product portfolio and propose clear, commercially grounded solutions
  • Stay close to cultural, design, hospitality, and travel trends relevant to high end travelers

 

Commercial and Performance Ownership

  • Own product performance metrics across the region
  • Track and evaluate product contribution to revenue quality, margin, and sales conversion
  • Refine, reposition, or retire products based on performance data and feedback
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to ensure products are clear, confident, and practical to sell
  • Partner with Finance to maintain pricing discipline and margin integrity

 

Operational Alignment

  • Work closely with Operations to ensure products reflect delivery reality
  • Design experiences that scale cleanly and reduce friction between promise and execution
  • Address products that create operational strain or inconsistency

 

Technology, Systems, and AI Enablement

  • Own the use of systems and processes that support clear, repeatable product development across the region
  • Embed technology and AI into product research, idea generation, evaluation, and documentation workflows
  • Improve speed, accuracy, and consistency of product outputs through structured tools
  • Work closely with Systems, Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure product data flows cleanly across platforms
  • Set clear standards for how AI supports analysis, thinking, and productivity while maintaining human judgement
  • Ensure product information stays current, searchable, and usable for Sales and Operations teams

 

Leadership and Capability Building

  • Build and lead the regional product function over time
  • Create shared frameworks, tools, and documentation to reduce reliance on individuals
  • Encourage structured contribution to product thinking across the business
  • Act as a mentor and reference point for future product leaders

Compensation

This role sits at Head level. Target compensation sits in the high six figure range, with flexibility for an exceptional fit.
