Venture back to a time when Bangkok was a verdant patchwork of farms, orchards, and temples connected by a labyrinth of criss-crossing canals. Throughout the day, we’ll paint a picture of the formerly fertile Chao Phraya Basin, out of which arose a modern megalopolis. Traveling aboard an iconic longtail boat, we’ll explore the city’s waterways to experience the architectural and commercial legacy of Bangkok’s early merchants and discover local communities seemingly trapped in time.
